We don’t ARRIVE anywhere meaningful by accident...we arrive there on purpose.

Whenever you go on an adventure you need to be clear what the destination is.

Whenever you go on an adventure you not only need to be clear what the destination is, you also have to have a means to keep you on the path.
Nothing is Impossible with God

Luke 1:37 (ESV)
For nothing will be impossible with God.

Matthew 17:14-18(ESV)
14 And when they came to the crowd, a man came up to him and, kneeling before him, 15 said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he has seizures and he suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water. 16 And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him.” 17 And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly.
Matthew 17:19-20 (ESV)
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
The phrase “able to move mountains” was a frequently used figure of speech. It spoke of someone who was able to overcome great obstacles in their life.
‌Nothing is impossible with God: Adventures in Faith
We believe God can do big things in and through His people.
Raise your expectations for what God wants to do in your life.
When you begin to raise your expectations things begin to shift and things start to happen.
‌Little Faith = Underdeveloped Faith

We are not born with great faith. Faith grows through use.

Faith is nothing but believing what God promises or says. Whatever remarkable thing we read of happening in the Old or New Testament, we read that it was done by faith—not by works, not by a general faith, but by faith directed to the matter in hand. -Martin Luther
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ
Always remember it’s not about Faith in Faith. It’s about Faith in God, the One who can do the impossible.
Faith is only as valid as its object.

The Greek word for faith is pistis. It means to have trust or confidence.

‌When we walk in faith, we are trusting and showing confidence in God in the midst of our situation.
Mark 11:22-24 (ESV)
22 “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Smith Wigglesworth, Ever Increasing Faith - “The trouble is that we do not have the power of God in a full manifestation because of our finite thoughts, but as we go on and let God have His way, there is no limit to what our limitless God will do in response to a limitless faith.”
Faith isn’t just a moment — it’s a movement.

We want to be a church that trusts God to do the impossible.

We want to see a movement established that allows people to know Jesus and see lives changed.
