As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

When Jesus says, "Follow me," it's far more than a simple invitation to walk behind Him. And it's more than Bible study. It means life transformation. Following Jesus means to align our lives with His teachings and example, to embrace His values as our own. It signifies a willingness to leave behind old ways and habits, to take up our cross daily, and to live out a commitment to Him above all other influences.
Remember, when Jesus invited/commanded his disciples
to follow him, they:
Left their boats and nets (their identity & livelihood)
Began to obey his other commands (leaving their own priorities)
Began to learn from him (beginning to leave their own opinions)
Began to imitate him (beginning to leave their self-righteousness)

A posture change in our heart and thoughts.

You can’t gain resurrection life without dying first.
Take up their cross: An action willingly taken.
NST - I will be deprived of all the things I have worked hard for, and the things I so much enjoy. I am supposed to be poor and miserable.

Obedience is not on a spectrum.
And follow me: A direction diligently followed.
NST - I will have no say-so in my life! The desire to achieve greatness and happiness are now lost, for a life that will be unfilled and monotonous.

This isn’t a work for salvation, but we will be rewarded and we will be judged on the basis of what we do because what we do will reveal who we really are.
