Share your story!

Did you take any steps towards generosity in the past seven days? Did it bring joy to reflect the heart of God and the character of Jesus, as stewarding what God has given you in a way that glorifies Him and blesses others? Has the Lord been working in any other way in your life? Please share your story!

RICK ATCHLEY (SINIA SUMMIT)
It doesn’t matter how much or how little you take, stealing is wrong. You can’t be a person of character and be a thief.
ANTIDOTE FOR STEALING:

ANTIDOTE FOR STEALING:
- WORK
ANTIDOTE FOR STEALING:
- WORK
- GIVE
WESTMINSTER CONFESSION
Let us endeavor by all just and lawful means, to procure, preserve, and further the wealth and outward estate of others, as well as our own.
JEN WILKIN
When we understand ourselves to be stewards of God’s resources rather than owners, we learn to think differently about earthly treasures. When we refrain from taking what is not ours and rush to give what we have received, we make manifest the Kingdom here and now.
QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:

- Have you ever been guilty stealing? What did you steal? What did you learn as a result? Think of a time someone stole from you. How did you feel about the loss of property or loss of feeling
secure? How did you view the thief?

- What forms of stealing are you most likely to excuse? Why do they seem acceptable? Why are they actually sinful?

- In light of the various types of stealing discussed, is there anyone to whom you need to make restitution?

- What expression of generosity is the Spirit prompting you toward? What small expression of generosity might you perform this week?
