Prayer and Praise

Romans 12:15 says, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." Take a moment to let us know how we can rejoice with you or bring a need before God with you.

No one is saved because of their intelligence, and no one is excluded because of a lack of it.
God loves to help the humble and repentant. He is pleased when they come to him for help.

“Ultimately, all worldviews, whether religious or otherwise, make objective truth claims which would have real-world consequences if true. Christianity is no more or less judgmental than any other worldview. It simply makes different truth claims.” – Jimmy Wallace
“You have made us for yourself O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds rest in you.” – Augustine of Hippo
2 Applications:
1. Like Jesus, let’s thank God for how he works
2. If you don’t know Jesus, would you enter into his rest today?
Discussion Questions:
1. When you hear the word "rest," what comes to mind? What kind of rest do you feel like you need most right now—physical, emotional, spiritual?

2. Why is it important that salvation is ultimately God’s work and not ours?

3. Have you ever felt discouraged by someone rejecting the Gospel? How does knowing God is in control of salvation help you handle that?

4. How can intellectual pride get in the way of faith? What does childlike humility look like in real life?

5. Jesus says, “Come to me… and I will give you rest.” What kind of spiritual burdens do people carry today?

6. What does it mean to take Jesus’ yoke upon you? How is this yoke different from the burdens we often try to carry?

7. What’s one area of your life where you need to let go of striving and instead rest in Christ?
