1. Describe a time when you were treated wrongly. How did it make you feel? What do you wish you could have done differently back then?
2. We aren’t very good at waiting patiently, but the Psalmist’s prayer is for God to vindicate him. What are some things that can help us wait on God for vindication?
3. Kent said that walking faithfully will mean that we don’t coddle sin. What are some sins in the church that Christians coddle? Why is this dangerous?
4. Kent said, “Worshipping continually helps us make God’s perspective our perspective” (see Psalm 73:2-3; 16-17). How can worship help us get perspective in our suffering?
5. Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Why is it so important to forgive others? How can we do this when it is often very difficult?
7. What stood out from the sermon?
