Do you trust God with all you have?
What is competing with God for all of your heart?
If you knew that God would provide, would you trust Him with everything?
What if God only asked for just a portion?

We are still called to tithe today to God through the local church which is God’s representatives to reach a lost world and to provide a place to gather for worship and make disciples.
Are you robbing from God by not tithing?
It all belongs to Him!
All He is asking us to do is test Him and trust Him with a tenth of the income He has provided for us anyway.
Do you trust Him?
Our actions prove what we say we believe.
Are we acting by faith or fear?
Luke 11:42
Jesus is making it clear that we are called to tithe without neglecting justice and the love of God.
It’s not either or…it’s both – AND

God wants all of us not just part of us. He has plans to prosper us, but many won’t see that or truly find Him until they are willing to give Him full control of their heart.
Money is the #1 thing that competes with God for our heart.
Who are you aligned with today, God and the things and people of God, or the things and people that are against God or aren’t associated with Him?
4 Lessons from Genesis 14:17-24
1. The Blessing of Melchizedek
2. The Principle of Tithing
By giving back a portion of what we receive (a tenth), we honor God and acknowledge that all we have comes from Him.
As Proverbs 3:9 instructs, "Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your harvest."
3. The Dangers of Worldly Entanglements
"seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness" (Matthew 6:33)
4. The Integrity of Keeping Promises
being true to our word and upholding our commitments, as "a righteous man swears to his own hurt and does not change" (Psalm 15:4).
