Bigger than the impossible
He is BIGGER than any impossibility we will ever face
He is BIGGER than any impossibility we will ever face
Why follow something that can do nothing for you?
When you try to replace God, with a god, you will always be disappointed with the result
He is BIGGER than any impossibility we will ever face
When we try to follow God but leave room for other gods, our faith in Him becomes weak and powerless
We have to own our faith by not keeping a backup god on hand
God is not just one of many resources we have at our access. He is the one and only source
Trusting God completely is when we believe there are no other options
If you hope to see the impossible done it’s all in who you know
Lose the backup gods
Repair the altar of your heart
Lose the backup gods
Repair the altar of your heart
He is BIGGER than any impossibility we will ever face
Use these reflection questions from today's message throughout this week in your personal time with God.
1. In what ways have I tried to keep “backup gods” or other sources of security in my life besides God?
2. What feels “impossible” to me right now?
3. How does believing that God is bigger than any impossibility change my perspective on this situation?
4. Matthew 19:26. What “impossible” situation am I facing right now, and how am I bringing it to God?
5. Ephesians 3:20. When have I experienced God doing more than I could ask or imagine?
6. Jeremiah 33:3. How often do I pray boldly, believing God can do more than I ask or imagine? Have I asked Him to?
7. What does it mean for me to own my faith today, rather than just borrowing it from others or tradition?
8. What distractions or compromises have weakened my faith, and how can I remove them?
9. If God alone is my source, how should that affect my priorities, my schedule, and my decisions?
10. What would it look like for me to make God my only option rather than my last resort?
