Romans 7:24-25a
24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Not:
- I wish my life could be better.
- I don’t understand why God allows stuff.
- I have done things that feel unforgivable.
- I don’t know how God could love me.
- I am too hard a case even for God.
- I don’t think that God could bless me like he does others.
- I feel useless in serving God’s Kingdom.

LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO . . .

* Stop complaining: "Thanks be to God"

* Start believing:"who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord"

Yes!
- I am not a mistake, I am God’s creation.
- I am loved by God who sent his Son for me.
- I am forgiven and free by the power of Jesus.
- I have God’s Spirit who leads and strengthens me.
- I have purpose in life as someone who is called by God.
