A Jesus Church doesn’t run from the enemy—it stands, it resists, and it walks in the power and authority of Jesus.
In the gospels, Jesus didn't avoid the darkness—He walked right into it, bringing light and freedom. And in the book of Acts, we see the early church doing the exact same thing.
That’s the calling of the church today: to follow Jesus not just in words, but in action—to confront spiritual darkness and advance the Kingdom of God, even when it costs us something.

The modern church has often forgotten what spiritual authority looks like.
We’ve replaced power with performance.
We’ve replaced truth with comfort.
We’ve made church a safe space, but not a strong place. But Jesus didn’t build a church that hides.
He built a church that stands in authority over darkness. And if the spirit of Jesus is in us, then His authority is in us. That means:
We don’t need to be afraid of spiritual warfare.
We don’t need to be afraid of the enemy’s attacks.
We don’t need to retreat. The same Jesus who silenced demons in Luke 4 is alive in His church today.

Worship is warfare. Praise is resistance.
Prayer is an act of spiritual defiance. When you’re in the darkest place and still choose to sing, that’s a blow to the enemy’s strategy.
Because the enemy expects fear, but God releases freedom through faith.

When the Church rises in worship, hell trembles.
When the people of God cry out, heaven responds.
When the people of God cry out, heaven responds.
The book of Acts is not over.
We are still living it chapter by chapter.
We are still living it chapter by chapter.
The best way to resist the enemy… is to raise up more soldiers in God’s army.
So how does a Jesus Church resist the devil?
1. By walking in spiritual authority, not fear
2. By discerning the enemy’s tactics, even when they’re disguised as truth.
3. By worshiping in the dark, just like Paul and Silas
4. By preaching the gospel boldly, even behind prison walls
5. By training believers, so they don’t fall into spiritual traps.
And finally...By praying and declaring that Jesus is Lord over every life, every city, every nation.
