Bible Study Questions: Strong Man, Weak Choices
1. What does it mean to choose desire over devotion, and how do we recognize this in ourselves?
Application: Identify one recent decision you made that was based more on what 'looked good' than on what was spiritually wise. This week, make space for prayer before key decisions. Ask: "Lord, what do You want?"
2. Why do small compromises matter so much in the Christian life?
Application: List any habits or patterns that may be drawing you away from God's best - entertainment choices, dishonesty, unhealthy relationships, etc. Confess one area to a trusted friend or mentor and ask for accountability.
3. How do we handle offense and betrayal without falling into scheming and revenge?
Application: Reflect on someone who has wounded or betrayed you. Pray for them today. Write a prayer of forgiveness, even if the relationship isn't yet restored.
4. What does healthy spiritual community look like, and how do we resist isolation?
Application: If you are not actively involved in a small group or close spiritual friendship, take one step toward connection this week. Join a group, attend a Bible study, or reach out to someone who sharpens your faith.
