In a hopeless world, Christians stand out for the hope they have. (1 Peter 3:8-22)
1.Believers live Different, leading to hope (1 Peter 3:8)

2.God gives Hope (1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 34:12; 1 Peter 3:18-22)
a.God sees the righteous
b.His ears are attentive to their prayer
c.The Lord is against those who do evil
d.What Jesus does for believers
i.He suffered to bring us into relationship with God (1 Peter 3:18)
ii.Brings salvation (1 Peter 3:21)
iii.Gives believers a clear conscience (1 Peter 3:21)
iv.God sees us and cares for us

b.Be prepared to answer for our hope

SuAnne (Director of the YWL) and Randy Vannatter will be speaking at Bethany June 29 during the God at Work.
