At The Movies 2025 | Week 1 – A Mission (J. Rice, Worship Leader, Impact 580)
At the Movies is an annual event at TheLifeCommunity.Church. We decorate our lobby in our favorite movie theme and invite people from the community, friends and family. During the service, we show movie clips of popular films, and one of our LCC pastor, an LCC staff member, or a guest speaker creates a message based on themes from the film. It's one of our most popular and fun series, and we look forward to it every year. Due to copyright law, we cannot post footage from any films here, or on our YouTube channel. You have to attend live at LCC during one of our Sunday Services. You are invited to join us this Sunday (7/6) at either 10 or 11:30AM for Week 1 of the 2025 Edition of this annual series. Come early to get some popcorn to munch on and find yourself a seat in our auditorium. TheLifeCommunity.Church is a safe place where you and those you know can wrestle with faith, doubts and hard questions as you learn more, or confirm what you already know of what Christianity is all about. Come as you are, meet people who are just like you and care about what you are going through. There’s a comfortable space for you to sit, draw closer to God and let him speak to your heart. We believe that God is eager to spend time with you because we know you matter to Him and your presence here matters to us. We hope to see you this weekend at TheLifeCommunity.Church, we'll have the doors open and a seat saved for you!

Week 1 – A Mission (Jumanji – Josh Rice, Worship Leader, Impact 580)
We have been given a mission as Jesus followers.
Ephesian 2:10 NIV
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
1. You have been fully prepared to complete the mission.
Ephesians 3:20 NIV
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us
Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
– What does that mission look like for you?
– What do you believe God has set out for you to do?
1 Peter 4:10 NIV
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
2. Strengths and weaknesses equip us to complete the mission.
Galatians 6:2
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
3. Life is truly better together
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
