The Spirit gives gifts that reflect our diversity and His heart.
The Spirit gives gifts to all because you matter.
This passage is an incredible reminder and encouragement to us all, what you contribute may go somewhat unnoticed, it may feel inferior, but the body needs you, your building it up, your doing your part, don’t for a moment think your ministry is not benefiting the body.
What do you do to find your gifting? Here are an easy four steps we all can do this week and the weeks to come?
Pray – Ask God to give you wisdom about yourself and the way He’s wired you. Pray that He would guide you where you can be used to meet needs that the church has.
Explore - What needs are out there? What maybe is a space where you could step in and help fill a void that needs to be filled. We have a class, DD that is designed to help people become aware of next steps and places to connect and serve here at Doxology. Maybe that’s the right place to find out more.
Do Something – Don’t wait to find the perfect match for you. Step into a place, even if it’s temporary. Gifts take time and training to cultivate. First sermon I ever preached was baddd. It takes work. Start now and see how the Lord might reveal and strengthen the gifts He’s provided.
