Discussion Questions - Re-read our main passage from this week (Zechariah 8:1-8) and then with your Growth Group, family, friends, etc. thoughtfully answer the following:
1. Does the jealousy of God create theological difficulty for you? Why or why not?
2. How often do you think human jealousy is righteous? How often do you struggle with sinful jealousy?
3. In what ways does having an “intergenerational church” (with both old and young) help us see the benefits of valuing all ages?
4. What is one thing that you believe God wants to accomplish in your life, but it seems impossible or “marvelous?”
5. How do you reconcile God’s action in our salvation (He saves us) and our response to Him (we trust and obey)?
6. Because God is faithful and righteous we have confidence in our salvation. How are you tempted to put confidence in yourself?
7. What’s your next step in response to this message?
