Join us for the Sunday Gathering at 10:30am as we continue our series, Blessed: The Good Life According to Jesus—a journey through the Beatitudes and Jesus’ surprising vision for a flourishing life in God’s Kingdom. This week, Pastor Justin Style will be preaching from Matthew 5:9, where Jesus says: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” In a divided and anxious world, Jesus calls His followers to be more than passive peacekeepers—we’re invited to be peacemakers: people who actively pursue reconciliation, bring healing into conflict, and reflect the heart of God. Join us as we lean into what it means to be agents of His peace.

Ken Sande, in his book The Peacemaker, gives us four steps to live this out in practical ways:
Glorify God – Ask, “How can I respond to this conflict in a way that honors God?”
Get the log out of your own eye – Own your part first.
Gently restore – Don’t shame. Help others see their part with grace.
Go and be reconciled – Make the move. Initiate. Don’t wait.
