God’s call was clear and direct, but His promise for Abram was conditional.

The conditions were: to leave his country, his people, and his father’s household, and to go to a land God would show him.

God often wants us to be willing to say yes and trust Him before we even know where, when, or how.

would your hat say, “Faith over Fear” or would it say, “Fear over Faith”?
The Prosperity and False Gospel message is that following God will bring you health, wealth, and happiness but Jesus made it clear that in this world we will have trouble and following Him comes with trials and tribulations.

Fear causes us to take matters into our own hands and do things that seem reasonable at the time to try and avoid hardships while faith shows our trust in God to provide the solution to the pressing situation.

God is faithful to His Word even we show little faith or fail.

No matter how we try to excuse away our lack of faith or sin, God knows our thinking and our heart in the matter.

Stop excusing thigs away and learn to start trusting in God to handle what He says He will handle.

When Abram lied, his problems multiplied. When we lie…our problems multiply as well.

In what area is God calling you to trust Him more today?

Are you trusting Him with your finances by tithing and having Him direct your monthly income and bills?

Are you giving control of your daily life to Him and trusting Him for the outcome?

Are you giving God control of your time, calendar, and rest knowing that He can do more with 6 days than you can do with 7?

Do you trust God with your and honor Him by working with integrity in all you do and honor Him in front of your coworkers, boss, customers, or employees?

Do you trust God with your spouse and family by following His Word and treating them with honor and respect and servanthood?

2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV - for we walk by faith, not by sight.
