Local: Pray for people in your world who feel like they are at an impasse, whether at work, in relationships, in faith, and/or in family. Pray for opportunity to be a blessing and encouragement to them.
Church: Pray for each of our communities to be healthy bodies of Christ. Pray for opportunity to connect people from your local to the church. They are a vital part!

Take it Deeper Questions
Read Matthew 5:1-15.
Jesus shifts from “blessed are those” to “blessed are you.” How does that change the tone of this final beatitude?
Have you ever felt misunderstood or judged for doing the right thing—or for your connection to Jesus? What did it feel like?
What does it mean to “rejoice and be glad” in the face of hostility without being fake or dismissive of pain?
Can you name ways Jesus was misunderstood or insulted—especially when showing love or mercy? How does that shape your understanding of faithfulness?
How does our deep study of the beatitudes shift your daily perspective? What does living these out daily change in you?
