A healthy church on mission looks like this:

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
Acts 2:42-47 (NLT)

How do we do that here?

PURSUE GOD
BUILD COMMUNITY
UNLEASH COMPASSION

Each of these has two components:

· “Me” part - Personally Each of us individually
· “We” part - Corporately All of us together

PURSUE GOD –

Jesus: “Seek the Kingdom of God, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33 (NLT)

“Seek first the Kingdom of God” = Making God our TOP PRIORITY

“Me” Pursing God: Devotional Life

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. Psalm 1:1-3 (NLT)

I become more like Jesus when I spend time with Jesus.
