Psalm 27:7-9
7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
God my Savior.

Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom should I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—whom should I dread?

It’s never more important to remind yourself the truth of who God is, than in those moments when life doesn’t make sense.

The Lord is Light and Salvation. The Lord is the stronghold of life.

The Lord is MY light and salvation. The Lord is the stronghold of MY life.

Psalm 27:3
Though an army deploy against me, my heart will not be afraid; though a war breaks out against me, I will still be confident.

Psalm 27:4
I have asked one thing from the Lord;
it is what I desire:
to dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
gazing on the beauty of the Lord
and seeking him in his temple.

To know about him isn’t enough, WE HAVE TO KNOW HIM!

Psalms 27:8
My heart says this about you:
“Seek his face.”
Lord, I will seek your face.

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart be courageous. Wait for the Lord!

It's not about what you are waiting on; it's who you are waiting WITH that really matters!
