Why is it so hard to be a faithful disciple of Jesus?
We face constant personal, cultural and supernatural opposition
Every follower of Jesus in every culture and generation faces the same obstacles to faithfulness:
Matthew 5:1-12 - being a follower of Jesus brings persecution and slander
John 17 - being in the world but not of it
Romans 12 - being conformed by worldly beliefs/behaviors
1Cor 10 - being tempted by evil cravings
Hebrews 12 - being habitually entangled to sin
1John 2:15-17 - believing lies from flesh, world, devil

Senior Breakfast: June 12
Folks 55 and up are invited to our next Senior Breakfast on Thursday, June 12 from 9-11:30am at BeFree Barrington. We will have the usual good food, fellowship, games, and a speaker.
Options Baby Bottle Drive
Options, a faith-based, non-profit pregnancy and sexual health resource center and clinic in Rochester, is holding its annual baby bottle drive. Pick up a bottle at the table in the back of the sanctuary, fill it with change or a check, and return it by Father's Day (June 15).
Graduation Celebration: June 22
If you're graduating high school, college, or post-grad this year, email or text your name, future plans, a family photo and grad/senior photo to Kim Nicols at trustworthynh@gmail.com or 603-834-8362 by Friday, June 20. We will celebrate you on Sunday, June 22!
