Ecclesiastes 2:18 (NCV)“I hated all the things I had worked for here on earth, because I must leave them to someone who will live after me.”
II. A costly procrastination: I have more time.
James 4:14 (NLT) “How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog—it's here a little while, then it's gone.”
III. A missed preparation: An eternal perspective. (2 Corinthians 5:1-8)
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
Luke 9:25 (NLT)“And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose or forfeit your own soul in the process?”
Hebrews 9:27 (NLT)“And just as it is destined that each person dies only once and after that comes judgment.”
