Blessed is the one who endures trials, because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

The reality is that every one of us is susceptible to sin.

1. Don’t lose sight of your purpose.

We fall when we are vulnerable, and we can be the most vulnerable when we think we’re at the top of our game.

God’s purpose for David, and for us, is that we live in loving relationship with Him and live for His glory.

What do I do when I don’t know what to do? Love First.

2. Practice real repentance.

We practice repentance when we put guardrails in place.

Accountability

Everyone needs someone who can tell them no. Who can speak into their lives. And we need to make it easy on them when they do.

Accountability is only as good as we are honest.

Boundaries

We don’t go where we used to go.
We don’t do what we used to do.
We don’t run with who we used to run with.

Boundaries are only as effective as we are submissive to them.

Habits

They make a HABIT of living like this…

Make a habit of honoring God and others.
Make a habit of seeing what God is doing, and giving Him glory.
Make a habit of taking captive your thoughts…
Make a habit of searching your own heart for sin and then repenting again.

Habits are only as good as we are consistent.
