Romans 12:1-8; Hebrews 10:23-25

1.Belonging (Romans 12:1-2)
a.The Gospel is what unites us
b.“Therefore…” What God has done
c.Considering what God has done, we become a living sacrifice
d.People that belong are transformed

2.Being one body (Romans 12:3-5)
a.The Church is where God brings us together
b.Honest Assessment: See ourselves as God does: fallen, broken people that are infinitely valuable because we are made in God’s image.
c.We are all members of one body
d.We belong to others

3.Becoming what God has designed for us (Romans 12:6-8)
a.Sharing spiritual gifts is how the Church becomes what God intended
b.Each believer has been given different spiritual gifts (Romans 12:6)
c.By God’s grace (Romans 12:6)
d.Every gift is necessary
e.These gifts are in us for the body
f.Share your gift in the way the gift was given you: freely & generously

By coming together, we become the people that God called us to be. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
