When we play the comparison game, we lose. We lose the person God has uniquely created us to be.

The enemy wants to convince us that we are not enough.

Five words from Romans 8 that will change not only how you see yourself but how you feel about yourself: There is now no condemnation.

In Christ, God condemns sin not you.

In Christ, the righteous requirements of the law have been fully met.

3 areas we all need breathing room: time, money and relationships

Four fears that cause a lack of breathing room:
- Fear of missing out
- Fear of falling behind
- Fear of not mattering
- Fear of disappointing people

Our greatest contribution may not be something we accomplished in the world but rather somebody we invest in, love on or help raise.

Romans 8 begins with no condemnation and ends with no separation.

Next steps:
1. Identify the fears, comparisons, negative self talk that are driving you toward self condemnation.
2. Receive God’s forgiveness and declaration that you are justified with no condemnation and no separation from him.
3. Seek breathing boom in your life.
- Trim what you can. Start with the low hanging fruit.
- Lean heavily into your heavenly Father who promises us grace and mercy in our time of need. Time with the father is a disproportionate reward.
- Be a gracious receiver and don’t be afraid to ask for help during hard seasons.
