Intro
If you’re new with us, we’ve been walking through a series called Architect of Grace, where we’ve broken down Paul’s letter to the church at Rome. He has painstakingly attempted at every turn to dispel their value of placing their hope in the Mosaic law and this week, he’ll do so, by carrying them all the way back to the beginning.

We are a sinner because:
1) It is our nature, from birth.
Have you ever witnessed a child being selfish? Nobody had to teach them that. It was in them.

2) Because we sin.

3) Because of Adam.

So today, I pray that you see a few things.
1) Look honestly at who you are. We’re not sinners because we sin, we sin because we are sinners and our need for a Savior is universal.
2) Cling to grace confidently. God’s grace is not fragile. It’s abundant, overflowing and strong enough to cover all of your sin.
3) Live as a product of that grace. If you’re in Christ, you’re no longer defined by Adam’s fall, you are defined by Christ’s righteousness.
