WHAT’S HAPPENING AT FC…
Volunteer Greeters needed for Sunday Morning Services – If you have a heart to serve and a smile on your face come join the greeter team at 8am or 9:30 service on a bi-weekly rotation. Reply back to this email if interested.
Joni & Friends Summer Mission Trip – Sign up NOW! This trip is June 8-13 Travel with us to Woodworth Louisiana and be a part of making a world where every person with a disability finds hope, dignity and their place in the body of Christ! If you desire to be on mission yourself or take your family to serve, sign up in the FCgeaux App or at FCascension.com and let’s Geaux. The cost is reduced to $360 through an FCgeaux stipend and scholarships are available. Deadline to sign up is May 15th.
WHAT’S HAPPENING AT FC…
Mother’s Day Photos – Dress in your best for our annual Mother’s Day family photos on the grounds of Parc 73 on Sunday, May 11th. Be A Bringer and invite another family to join you for church and a FREE family photo!
FC Seniors BBQ – Are you at or near retirement? Join the FC Seniors for an afternoon BBQ at the home of Ed and Judy Gould on Saturday, May 17th from 11am – 1pm. There will not be a lunch gathering on Thursday, May 14th.
FC Students 6th – 12th grade – make plans to join us to celebrate the end of school with a crawfish boil at FC on Wednesday, May 14th from 6:15-8:15. Pizza, Drinks and Desserts are free. If you plan to eat crawfish (3 lb with corn, potatoes and sausage) you must register in advance and pay $20.00 per student.
SUMMER CAMPS are OPEN for students completing 2nd through 12th grade. Check out our events page for all the details on FC Kids Camp and FC Student Middle and High School camp. An initial deposit secures your spot!
FC Kids VBS Road Trip is June 23rd – 26th from 6-8:30pm. Get all the details to register on the events page and sign up NOW to volunteer with us.
