If we allow miracles to TEACH us, only then can they help CHANGE us.
A storm is a SYMBOL for two things:
1. A Storm is CHAOS that threatens to turn your WORLD upside down.
1. A Storm is CHAOS that threatens to turn your WORLD upside down.
2. A Storm exposes the INSECURITY or FRAILTY of life.
1. Jesus asleep in the storm and His power do not stand OPPOSITE of each other, they’re one in the SAME.
2. Faith isn’t just believing what the Lord can DO, it’s also trusting he can SEE more than you.
3. Jesus being Lord is not something we only seek for Him to demonstrate, but a REVELATION we should demonstrate in how we LIVE.
4. When we are not DELIVERED from suffering, we can seek God’s help to be TRANSFORMED by it.
5. Faith is the deliberate CHOICE to act on what you know despite what you SEE.
6. We are only tempted to be believe God doesn’t CARE when we believe He’s not in the BOAT with us.
7. Until we truly FEAR Him, we won’t fully put our TRUST in Him.
Weekly Review Read through Mark 4:35-41 while thinking about how you tend to deal with difficulties and how you can better give those situations to the Lord.
What's Next: Our next Re-Charge lesson will be from Mark 5:1-20 entitled: Bound to be Free. Feel free to read and study the text and consider this question before attending: “How can we be truly free from the many struggles of life?”
