As relevant as the day Moses walked down the mountain!. The ten commandments are the foundation for a relationship with God. This list is not just a bunch of "dos" and "don’ts", it is God's love and care for his beloved creation.

Life Group Questions
This Life Group season runs from April 27 – June 1, 2025.
1. “You shall not murder” was our commandment this week. The first murder in the Bible occurs in Genesis 4:1-16. Read that incident together. Did Cain break commandments other than “You shall not murder”? If so, which ones? (You can find the commandments in Exodus 20:1-17).
2. What can we learn from Cain and Abel about obedience to God?
3. What do we learn about forgiveness and repentance?
4. Most importantly, what do we learn about God’s character towards humans?
5. Cain’s actions were preventable. Also, murder is not considered a morally acceptable option to resolve disagreements by most people (thanks be to God!). Read Ephesians 4:25-5:2. What do we learn about how to nurture the right attitude towards others in attitude and action?
6. What are some good examples you’ve seen of other believers following God’s example as noted in Ephesians 5:1-2?
