“What’s next?”

“What did the disciples do next after the resurrection and what do I do after I put my trust in Jesus and after I get baptized? What’s next?”

Jesus did all the work of Salvation. We cannot earn our own salvation or “save” anyone else. So, what are we called to do?

We have a What and a Where that we are called to do after Jesus ascended to Heaven!

This is our Call to Action, our “What Next”!

What are we called to do?
4 Things listed in Matthew 28:19-20.
1.We are called to “Go”
2.And “make disciples”,
3.“Baptize them”,
4.And “teach them everything Jesus commanded”.

Where are we called to do this?

Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and ends of the earth – Acts 1:8

How do we apply this today?

Our Jerusalem is where we live locally.

It starts at Home and our local city.


Our Judea is the nearby town or towns next to our home city.


Our Samaria = places we wouldn’t normally go to or people we don’t normally associate with or who we aren’t normally comfortable talking to. Maybe other cultures or ethnicities that aren’t like you.

Ends of the earth – Everyone! No one is left out from the Gospel – the Good News of Jesus.

“Go” said in Matthew 28:19, means – “as you are going”

We do this by Loving God and Loving Others.
Showing Grace, Love, Forgiveness, Mercy and Truth.
Meeting people where they are and showing them the love of God, and letting God change their hearts with His love and truth!

Be the church wherever we go!

Share the Good News about Jesus to others and live it out in your life so that His resurrection impacts your daily lives and is apparent for all to see.
