Look inward (1 Samuel 16:7)
Evaluate a tradition against the Word of God. (Acts 17:11)
Do not add to or subtract from the Word of God. (Deuteronomy 4:2, Revelation 22:18-19)
Discover the origin of the tradition. (Mark 7:5)
Receive the freedom and heart change found through faith in Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
