I Want To Serve

As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

God has love for His creation, but there is a deeper consuming experiential love for his children.
The Hebrew word for “worship” actually means “bow down.”
vs. 17 - Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
vs. 18 - may have power
vs. 19 - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
It is one thing to have Christ living in your heart and another thing to experience it.
18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Paul is refusing to divorce knowledge from experience.
Have you settled in your relationship with God?

I believe we experience God at its deepest level when we allow the tension of knowledge and experience to work itself out in our lives, not cut it off.
