Salt and light people must have the character of Jesus.

Opposition to Salt and Light People: Matthew 5:11-12

Salt and light people must be prepared to gladly suffer for Jesus.

You are the salt of the earth: Matthew 5:13

Salty people engage their community in ways that hinder evil and advance good.

You are the light of the world: Matthew 5:14-16

People of light share with others the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When we engage our world with works of compassion while also sharing the truth of the Gospel, people will glorify God.

You are salt and light, so live like it!

Salt must be in the earth to have its effect, and the light must shine forth in the world to have its effect, so engage your world!
