The Son of Man – Luke 24:1-12
1. He is the Lord over and the fulfillment of the Old Testament.
(Dan 7; Mt 12:8,40; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5, 11:30; John 3:14, 8:28, 12:34)
2. He came to suffer, that he might save.
(Suffer: Mt 17:22, 20:18; Mark 8:31, 9:31; Luke 9:22,44, 24:7)
(Save: Mt. 9:6, 20:28; Mark 2:10, 10:45; Luke 5:24, 19:10)
3. He returns, redeems and reigns in Glory.
(Mt. 16:27, 19:28, 24:30, 25:31-45, 26:64; Mark 13:26-27, 14:62; Luke 18:8, 21:27, 22:69; John 5:27, 6:62, 12:23, 13:31)
Go and tell.
