MONDAY: Stones of Life
Reading: John 18:1-14
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for fulfillment of the scriptures. You fulfill every promise and no Word will be left unfulfilled. Sometimes in my life I look for You to reign in the way I think You should but just like the disciples had no idea You would be taken in an arrest, I may not understand the greater plan You have in mind. Please help me to not be hyper-focused on how I think You should do things, but rather help me to submit to whatever way You desire to do a thing.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your sacrifice. Help me to be prepared for the surprising things in my life You will bring me through by keeping my trust in You. I know the disciples did not expect You to die, so I ask for Your help as I stay faithful to You when the unexpected things happen in my life. I want to continue following You and my faith to grow no matter where we go together.
Reading: Mark 15:37-47

Prayer: Hallelujah! You are risen! Thank You Lord for Your awesome power and great love You have for the world. Lord, sometimes when I do not understand Your purposes I find myself looking in the wrong places for You. Please give me understanding so I can keep my eyes on You and where You are today. Please be present in my life and let me feel Your leading as You are near to me.

Prayer: Dear Lord, please help my unbelief. There may be times where I find myself in moments of doubt in Your plan and purposes, help me to use these times to grow closer to You. Give me perseverance to search more diligently for Your answers and to stay a little longer at Your feet. I want to live a life in thankfulness for all You've done and for all You still have left to do. I praise You, Lord!

I know one day You will come again, but help me to focus on this moment and to live right now for You. I ask for a greater desire to know Your word and a greater longing to spend time with You in prayer. Help me to always be ready to tell others of Your gospel and why I have chosen to live for You.
