I WAS. BUT GOD. AND NOW.
I WAS.
Which “I Was” statement is part of your story?
I was lost - searching but never satisfied.
I was broken - wounded and worn out.
I was anxious or depressed - consistently worried and afraid, empty inside.
I was addicted - stuck and feeling hopeless.
I was angry – bitter and guarded.
I was selfish – living primarily for me.
I was ashamed – haunted by my past.
I was insecure – never enough.
But God.
Jesus didn’t come to make bad people good. He came to bring the dead to life.
And Now.
AND NOW
You are forgiven.
You are redeemed.
You are made righteous.
You are a child of God.
You are a new creation.
You are an overcomer.
You are God’s masterpiece.
You are a saint.
And you are empowered.
The Myth is now I’m perfect, I don’t struggle anymore.
We don’t strive for victory – in Christ we live from victory.
Next Step: “Why Not Now?” Maybe your still in the “I was” stage but today could be your “But God” moment.
