When you believe, your life changes.

This means that you and I no longer have to live under sin’s condemning power before a holy God, and be kept separated from Him. This change will also mean that you and I no longer have to live under sin’s enslaving power. Death has no dominion over us. It's Christ's resurrection that provides the victory over physical and spiritual death. Because of this, a believer should consider themselves dead to sin, and alive unto God.

Believers need to not let sin reign in our mortal bodies and not present our bodies as members (a tool) of unrighteousness.
