Double Crossed
Mark 15:12-27, John 19:16–20

Cross carrying conveys the power of God in our lives.

We were not created to carry our crosses alone.

Cross carrying means walking through difficulty with the attitude and help of Jesus.

If I refuse to take up my cross, my cross may take me down.

"Jesus. Nazarene. King of the Jews.”

Jesus’ absolute sacrifice wins him absolute authority.v

Evangelism means bringing His cross to someone else's cross.

The cross subverts the language of power.

The cross subverts the language of wisdom.

The cross subverts the language of identity.

With His Cross there is no cross we cannot carry, and nowhere our crosses cannot reach.

Salvation Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for drawing me to Yourself from my darkness, my sin, and my shame. I repent of my sins, and I ask You to forgive me. I welcome You into my heart, and I surrender my future into Your hands. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit, and help me to be a reflector of Your light to those around me. Thank You for including me in Your family. Amen
