As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

My brother suffered with multiple sclerosis for over 20 years and was bed bound for the last 12 years of his life. He lived at home with my parents and was on disability (which paid very little). He wanted to be cremated. We believe he accepted the Lord shortly before his death, something we had prayed about for years. We didn’t have the funds for a burial without going into debt, so he was cremated as he wished. One family member was very skeptical about cremation, believing it has pagan roots, and that the Bible doesn’t mention it. She even questioned if someone would go to Heaven if they were cremated. She mentioned about the resurrection of the dead and how would the body be raised up if it were burned.
The Old Testament law nowhere commands that a deceased human body not be burned, nor does it attach any curse or judgment on someone who is cremated. While burial was the common practice, the Bible nowhere commands burial as the only allowed method of disposing of a body.
How does one guard against greed? The Lord has blessed my business abundantly and my wife’s job also pays her very well. For the most part money is not a worry we have, and we can provide a very comfortable lifestyle for our family. How do we enjoy God’s blessing but not be greedy?
Our idols define us.

How should I pray for someone’s healing? I get so discouraged and afraid to pray for healing and then it doesn’t happen? Does God heal all our disease as the bible says?
