Colossians 4.2-6

COLOSSIANS 4.2-6 (NLT) Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should. Live wisely among those who are not believers and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
STEP 1: Pray Like It’s a Group Project (Because It Is) Devote yourselves to prayer… vs. 2
• Prayer is part of PREPARATION. Devote yourselves to prayer… pray… that God will give us many opportunities to speak… vs. 2-3
• Prayer is part of PROCLAMATION. Pray that I will proclaim the message as clearly as I should. vs. 4
• Prayer celebrates the PAYOFF. Prayer… with a thankful heart. vs. 2.
STEP 2: Build Bridges Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. vs. 5
STEP 3: Be a Normal Human (Surprisingly Effective)
STEP 4: Be Flexible Know how to answer everyone. vs. 6
