Consider Jesus - Phil Kendon
It is so easy to get caught up in the doing of the Christian life or even the things we feel like we should be doing but aren’t – that we lose sight of the reason we do anything. Jesus is the centre of the Christian faith. It is his work that makes a relationship with God possible, and it is in honour of him that we live out our Christian faith. He is our motivation. He is the object of our worship. He is our great example. He is the one who helps us in our weakness. And as we focus our attention on him, we will also be able to run our race and complete the work that God wants us to do for him through our lives.
