Learn from John the Baptizer: standing for truth, even if you are destroyed because of it, is worth it.
Learn from Jesus: the toll of rejection, pain, and even the work of ministry itself, requires rest and recovery.
Don’t let past relationships hurt the present ministry of God.
Realize that you are not in “it” alone.
Realize that sin, without repentance, leads to further unrighteousness.
