1. Do what the Lord tells you to do.

2. Don’t get so focused on the storm that you lose sight of Jesus.
3. You won’t do anything that counts for God if you don’t get out of the boat.
Blessed is the person who doesn’t sit in the seat of the scornful. (Psalm 1)
4. In a storm, God will reveal to you and to me that we’re not all that we think we are.
5. God will save you in the midst of your storms.
In our lives, too, we need bracing that makes it possible to carry the dead load of self, the live load of daily living, and the wind load of the storms in our lives.
