1. Read and meditate over Revelation 1:9-20 one more time. What stands out to you? What do you find comforting about this passage?
2. Consider this week the times you have experienced Awe and Wonder; how was God a part of that experience?
3. Practice curiosity about what God may be teaching you through your daily life. Be on the lookout for moment of Awe and Wonder, and stay awhile in that moment.
- Pray for your awareness of God's presence in your life, especially in places and people we typically write off.
- Pray for God's love, grace, and hope to overwhelm you and lead you in life.
1. What were your first thoughts when you heard the scripture passage this week? What about John's vision stood out to you?
2. Why do you think it's important that John's vision moved from terror to comfort? Can you empathize with John in this moment?
3. Have you had mystical experiences or experiences of awe and wonder that made you feel close to God? What was that like?
