SHARED GREETING
Please stay in your pew and greet your surrounding neighbors with a hello. When done we will sing without holding hands,
“They’ll Know We are Christians”
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
And we pray that all unity may one day be restored
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love

Call to Worship - A Call to Worship, drawn from sentences of Scripture, expresses God’s invitation to gather as Christ’s body in this place.
CALL TO WORSHIP 1 Chronicles 16:28-34
Leader: Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
All: Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
Leader: tremble before him all the earth! The world is firmly established it cannot be moved.
All: Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
Leader: Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them! Let the trees of the forest sing, let them sing for joy before the Lord, for he come to judge the earth.
All: Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Prayer of Confession and Silent Prayer - Having praised the holiness of God, we must also face the sinful state of the world and our lives, confessing our unworthiness to enter into God’s presence. Nevertheless, we approach God with confidence, trusting in the mercy of Jesus Christ. We start this off with a communal confession and follow it up with silent and personal confession to God of our sins.
UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Almighty Father, forgive our sins. Forgive the sins that we remember and the sins we have forgotten. Forgive our many failures in the face of temptation, and those times when we have been stubborn in the face of correction. Forgive the times we have boasted of our own achievements and those when we have failed to boast in your works. Forgive our harsh judgements of others and the mercy we have shown ourselves. Forgive us the pain we have caused others and the comfort we have shown ourselves. Father, have mercy on us and make us whole for the sake of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Assurance of Pardon - A declaration of forgiveness that proclaims the good news of God’s mercy and offers the assurance of pardon in Jesus’ name.

Catechism or Confession - As a Reformed church rooted in the history of Christianity, we recite creeds, confessions, and catechisms that explain biblical teaching and help us to remember the lessons of God’s Word.
NICENE CREED
We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontious Pilate. He suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to the scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. And we believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Children’s Time - Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). To this end we invite all children forward to hear a message designed to help bring them closer to the majesty of God and his Son.

Scriptures - The Scriptures bear witness to the Word of God, revealed most fully in Jesus Christ, the Word who “became flesh and lived among us” (John 1:14). Where the Word is read and proclaimed, Jesus Christ the living Word is present by the power of the Holy Spirit. The role of the congregation is to listen prayerfully, actively, and attentively to the Word that is read and proclaimed.

Prayer of Concerns and Thanksgivings - In response to the Word, we pray for the world God so loves – joining in Christ’s ministry of praying for others before the throne of God. These prayers are not the work of a single leader, but an act of the whole congregation as Christ’s royal priesthood.
PRAYER OF CONCERNS & THANKSGIVINGS
PRAYER OF CONCERNS & THANKSGIVINGS
Offering, Doxology, Prayer of Thanksgiving - Christian life is an offering of one’s self to God. Tithes and offerings are gathered as an act of thanksgiving to God for all of the blessings that he has given us and for the work of his church. In response we sing glory to God and lift up prayer thanking him for his blessings and to continue to bless the work of the church through our offerings.
