As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

How does one go about their Christian walk when your job in the military can require fighting and killing?
Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. King James Version
Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder. NIV, ESV, NKJV, NLT,NASB, etc…
Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder. NIV, ESV, NKJV, NLT,NASB, etc…
There are two different Hebrew words (ratsakh, mut) and two Greek words (phoneuo, apokteino) for “murder” and “killing.” One means “to put to death,” and the other means “to murder.”
Is suicide the unforgivable sin? Do people that commit suicide go to Hell?
Jesus died for all of our sins, and if a true Christian, in a time of spiritual attack and weakness, commits suicide, his/her sin is still covered by the blood of Christ.
When we get saved by believing the Gospel and asking Jesus into our lives, we receive salvation. Can you lose your salvation by no longer believing or continuing to live a life that does not glorify God by living in continual, unrepentant sin? What about temporary disbelief after a tragedy?
Once you have accepted Jesus as your savior, can you lose your salvation after that?
Hebrews (2:1-4; 3:7-4:13; 5:11-6:12; 10:19-39; 12:14-29)
God is sovereign, and God is good, yet what do we do with our struggle of being afraid of what God will allow in our lives? In other words, it is hard dealing with the fear of “what’s around the corner”, or the suffering that God will permit. I believe God is in control of everything, the good and the bad, but I am anxious and feel like I can never truly relax. It’s like you want to be prepared for what is coming even though you cannot truly prepare for it. You do not even have to be the one who is suffering… just hearing about the tragedies of others makes me wrestle with my faith at times and it makes me afraid of God and what He will allow.
