Application: Reflect on how these labels have influenced your self-worth and decisions. Read 2 Corinthians 3:18 and ask God to help you see yourself through His transforming mirror rather than the distorted lens of past experiences.
2. In what ways have past hurts or failures caused you to settle instead of moving forward in faith? Application: Like Terah in Genesis 11:31-32, identify areas in your life where pain has held you back. Pray and ask God to give you the strength to press forward rather than staying stuck in past disappointments.
3. How does looking into God's mirror (His Word) change the way you see yourself compared to the labels of the past? Application: Read Romans 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 5:17. List who you are in Christ and declare these truths over your life daily.
4. What steps can you take to replace the negative labels of your past with your true identity in Christ? Application: Follow the four responses outlined in the message. Share one step you will take this week to break free from an old label.
