Northridge Christian Church

ALL IN - Week 4
On the heels of a series that unpacked the mission and values of Northridge, now it is time to use those “blueprints” to build something new. Our church is growing at an unprecedented rate, and our ministries are thriving, meaning we are quickly running out of space. Generations of believers in our church’s history took advantage of moments like this to do something extraordinary. This series is our chance to determine if we are willing to go ALL IN with God’s plans for our church today.

My gift has not changed my lifestyle one bit. I still go to the movies I want to go to and eat at the restaurants I want to dine at. But what about the person who gives a gift that requires they can't go to the movies or eat out. They are the true givers—the true heroes [of generosity].

SERMON IN A SENTENCE:
The most generous people aren't the ones who have the most to give, but the ones who are willing to give the most of what they have.

WILLINGNESS MATTERS MORE THAN WEALTH
GRACE FUELS SACRIFICIAL GENEROSITY
GOOD INTENTIONS DON’T ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION

But the king replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them.
