Keep Your Priorities Right

Nehemiah 2:18c
So, they began this good work

People who do good work make God first priority in their lives.

Set an example worth following.

Nehemiah 10:28-29a
“The rest of the people—priests, Levites, gatekeepers, musicians, temple servants and all who separated themselves from the neighboring peoples for the sake of the Law of God, together with their wives and all their sons and daughters who are able to understand all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God

both parents attend church, 72 percent chance that children, once they reach the age of 18, will attend church

If just dad attends church, 55 percent chance the children will attend church in their adult life.

If only mom attends church, 15 percent chance that the children will attend church. If neither parent attends church, 6 percent chance children will attend church in their adult life.
