We will be collecting our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American missions on through Easter Sunday. 100% of the money given will go to support church planters and other missionaries working with the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Please pray for our team from Goshen on mission in Puerto Rico, March 14-21, 2025. They are working with Christian and Valeria Acevedo and their church plant in Gurabo, Puerto Rico.

The Micah Dinner Ministry at Goshen is dedicated to providing one meal per month to the Micah Respite House, located at 1512 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg. This ministry serves up to 10 residents on the fourth Thursday of each month, with meal drop-off scheduled between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Volunteers are urgently needed to help sustain this effort, which supports individuals who have been released from the hospital but are not yet healthy enough to return to living on the street. This month the children's ministry will be hosting a Bingo night for the kids. Join us on March 28th starting at 5:30pm for food, fellowship, and an opportunity to win some great prizes! Let your friends and family know and keep an eye out for a sign-up sheet so we know approximately how many will be attending.

There will be a True North VBS FunShop this year in Fredericksburg for anyone interested in training for VBS. The training will take place at Salem Baptist Church on April 5, 2025, from 8:45 am-12 pm. If we register by March 15th we will receive the early bird pricing. We will host our annual community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, from 2:00-4:00. In addition to candy donations to fill eggs, we need many volunteers. If you can help with this event, you can find a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. All candy donations (no chocolate or suckers) can be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall anytime between now and Sunday, April 13. Thank you, Goshen family, for always making this event a success.

As wildfires continue to devastate Los Angeles, our partners at CSBDR are actively providing meals, supplies, and spiritual care. Ttrained volunteers will be needed for recovery efforts once clearance is given. To prepare, SBCV Disaster Relief is offering both Basic and Advanced Training on May 3rd in the Central-West & Southside Region (location TBD). Basic Training (8:00 am– 1:00 pm) is available for new volunteers and those re-credentialing; covering biblical foundations, evangelism, organizational protocols, and disaster response roles, with options for in-person or online training. Advanced Training (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) is available for credentialed volunteers in Chainsaw, Unit

Keep an eye out for VBS information that will be sent out sometime this month. There will be a sign-up sheet for all the volunteers needed to help make this week a success. The theme this year is all about teaching kids how to trust Jesus in whatever situation they may be facing. Please begin praying for this event that we may be able to reach as many kids as possible in sharing the love of Jesus!

The Standing Rock team needs more hands and feet! We are looking to expand our ability to offer more services in Bullhead, SD, during the week of July 25–August 1, 2025. We need people who are willing to assist with children and adults for Bible lessons, crafts, games and food prep. Meeting on the third Sunday of each month, Goshen Student Ministry will be hosting The Goshen Guild, a mission to reach the students of our community through popular table-top role play games. One of the groups we offer in the Goshen app is our Prayer Community. We encourage you to join this group and use this tool for your prayer requests. This is an easy and great way to get requests out immediately without having to go through the church office. The Children’s Ministry is urgently seeking volunteers to help with both Sunday school and Awana programs. These ministries are vital in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow in their faith, but they cannot thrive without the dedication and service of volunteers.
