Managing the Madness - Making Your Shots Count
March is a wild time of year—everywhere you look, there’s talk of brackets, upsets, and last-second shots. Even if you’re not a basketball fan, you can feel the energy. But if we’re honest, life feels like its own version of March Madness. We’re constantly running, constantly striving, constantly juggling responsibilities—and no matter how much we do, it never feels like enough. The writer of Ecclesiastes understood this. He looked at life and saw the endless cycle of striving, success, and exhaustion, and he called it what it was: meaningless. But what if there’s a better way? In this series, Managing the Madness, we’re going to talk about how to stop playing the game that wears us out and start living with intention. We’ll talk about recognizing when we’re running on empty, learning to say no so we can say yes to what really matters, building in rest before we burn out, and making time for what’s truly important. Because at the end of the day, the goal isn’t to do everything—it’s to do what matters most.

Saying No To Say Yes

Heavenly Father,
I know I have sinned, and I know that I'm saying yes to all the things, but YOU. I know I have walked away from You. But today, I turn back. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again, and I ask You to forgive me. I surrender my life to You. Be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for loving me and making me new.
Amen.
